Memphis gets the break we needed today. Someday maybe we will be good and lucky. I dream of that day
Re: Week IX (Schedule, Discussion, Scores)
Football. Memphis wins because Tulsa misses a 29 yard FG, we lose because Navy makes a 49 yarder.

Yep. Maybe the the good tulane will show up for UCF and we will have a chance of scaring them. They aren't invincible this yearPeteRasche wrote:WOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW. That hurts. Poor kid.
You see what UCF did to Temple today? If we lose to Tulsa and Temple at least there will only be about 150 people in Yulman to see that slaughter.tulaneoutlaw wrote:Look Tulsa has scrapped all year, but they aren't unbeatable. Neither is Temple. If we ever play a full four quarters we can win those games. It may seem like a big if, but it's there. We may also get an opponent that shoots themselves in the foot more than we do which would be a nice changeYankeewave wrote:we might not win again this season.

They aren't invincible but the teams that beat them did it with defense (including pick-6s) while scoring just enough. Our pass defense is.... suspect.tulaneoutlaw wrote:Yep. Oh I agree. I was looking forward to that matchup at the beginning of the season when we thought the defense would be good. Now they disappear for long stretches and key moments so not so muchPeteRasche wrote:They aren't invincible but the teams that beat them did it with defense (including pick-6s) while scoring just enough.
