ECU leading Cincy; we really don't need Cincy losing. They'll probably take another loss v Memphis, which will put UCF in the championship game, unless we beat them. I think they are the AAC's best team...but will they take a 2 loss AAC team into the Access Bowl? They should due to conference SOS

If Memphis holds, our 3 losses would be against teams that are a combined 22-4. The SEC team is the only one with 2 losses.

Made more sense than Tulsa (at 2-6) punting with 1 timeout, down 2 scores, with a little more than 4 minutes left.

28-17 UCF halftime. Stopping that O enough is going to be a challenge.

UCF has their flaws. They are very good and will beat us without our best effort, but Tulsa has hung with them most of the night.

Tied up at 31. Tulda has used their backup qb the entire second half.

Tulsa has a 34-31 lead under 5 minutes.

Tulsa gets the ball back with under 2 minutes. Don't know UCF's timeout situation.

There was a graphic at the beginning showing that Gabriel is much different on the road than at home. I think this game tells us two things. Tulsa is better than their record and; UCF looks beatable as long as the Wave doesn’t beat the Wave. I agree that UCF has come down to Earth. Maybe next year they trade the moon helmets for ones paying homage to the Challenger. The biggest challenge is stopping their speedy receivers and their version of Dauphine.

has anyone actually watched UCF? I've seen them several times and their QB does not impress me... he makes the occasional amazing play, but more often than not, makes mistakes. Don't concede that game to them at all... unless they announce McKenzie Milton is 100% and will be making his season debut against us... then you can get worried.

I watched them against Pitt, Houston, and last night. They are not the team they were a couple years ago, and yes, their QB doesn't wow you. He makes a lot of short throws and they sprinkle in the deep ball. They are a well coached team with a lot of talent in the skill positions. Their d line can cause problems.

But this Tulane team can beat them. I think we match up fairly well to them, assuming everyone is healthy.

another thing the Tulsa win over UCF proves is they are not as bad as their record and our win over them was actually a solid accomplishment... glad they didn't discover their back up QB until AFTER our game!
