Good insight here.

I am booking a couple of Southwest flights as placeholders. I can always use the credits later - if I need to cancel.

Big difference. Basketball was still at a high point then. Here we are talking about a very minor Bowl during the holidays.

I was at Costco and saw a guy in an LSU shirt, hat and pants. It’s like the third time this year I’ve been subjected to something like that. I hate when they are good. I wanted to say Geaux to hell, but realized it was Costco on a Sunday in New Jersey in the freezing rain and snow. I’m pretty sure he felt like he was already there.

All bowl games should be played in warm weather places. Early December and my kids school was cancelled today. I vote for Boca and request they play it this week.

I have a paper on the side of my fridge that says: I wear a Tulane shirt because I GRADUATED from Tulane. You wear an LSU shirt because you went to Wal-Mart.

A lot of people turned out for basketball against Georgia State when we weren't that good under Dunleavy.

We had a huge football turnout at Georgia Tech under CJ. We had a big turnout at Auburn. Similarly, we have big turnouts at Army, Navy, and other locations with large alumni bases..

Sorry, I think you're flat out wrong.

There’s clearly a difference in what you consider big turnouts than other people do.

We have a lot of great fans who aren't alums. Some of them post here. Many of them have season tickets in multiple sports.

Personally, I love our "Streetcar Alums" (to paraphrase from Notre Dame's lexicon). It's easy to be an LSU or Bama fan. You've got to want to be a Tulane fan and stick with us.

So I applaud y'all.

Am I remembering wrong or didn’t FS54 go to SeLa (not TU) himself?
