Potato Bowl
Re: Potato Bowl
Ball game right here. Must pick it up. QB draw on 3rd down? We have a group of WR’s playing that are simply outmatched.

Who on our starting O-Line made business decisions not to play today as well?

Re: Potato Bowl
I know you are being tongue in cheek but I thought we'd show better, even with all the personnel challenges. We picked ourselves up after three psyche crushing losses and finished strong in the 2nd half of the season. To see us sleepwalk through the first half here, playing and coaching soft was humiliating. Now we are at least in the conversation. Will we pull it out? Don't know, but at least I'm not changing the channel.

Friggen pitiful. Had Jackson wide open on first down play. Has to get rid of the damn ball

Hopefully Pratt doesn't transfer after the beating he's taking today

Re: Potato Bowl
Why not run the football at their 28 1st and 10? Honestly, I don't think Long has called a very good game.

Re: Potato Bowl
This btw is yet another example of why Fritz ball is soooo frustrating. We rarely play a complete game. Either we come out hot and fade or we take 3 Haymakers on the chin before getting off the mat. We will never, ever win 9 or 10 games if we can't give a complete effort whistle to whistle. I know we have a ton of guys missing, but still.

Re: Potato Bowl
I think the kids were playing hard, but the lack of first team reps for these guys is showing. And depth on o line is low quality. D backs are what we knew they were.

Re: Potato Bowl
I think the idea was to take a shot to the end zone there to get a quick score. But then a sack puts you behind the sticks and it pulls on from thereRotorooter wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 5:31 pm Why not run the football at their 28 1st and 10? Honestly, I don't think Long has called a very good game.

I hope that Hampton focuses on tackling fundamentals on the off season.

Re: Potato Bowl
Kind of like throwing the ball on 2 and 1 from the 50 and getting sacked. It isn't working. Then you have to go bak your bread-and-butter to set things up.tulaneoutlaw wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 5:32 pmI think the idea was to take a shot to the end zone there to get a quick score.
