Cut it out, you'll interrupt all the misery around here. Can't have anyone happy with non-revenue sports!

I admit I saw they started out the year rough and then lost track of how they've done. Partly because it's weird to have them playing in the Spring opposite basketball and baseball.

We had a rocky start to the season. Then, I'm not sure exactly what happened, but a few senior starters left after the first semester (had the season not switched that would have been the end of their eligibility; but they could have stayed). But they pulled it together in the 2nd semester.
From what I've read, his last 2 recruiting classes have been very good.

When Coach Barnes spoke the Greenbackers he said that he was excited about the girls he had coming in.

If we don't win the tournament, but finish say runner up, do we have a chance at the ncaas? Not even sure what that format will look like in this weird year

Without having paid a lick of attention to college volleyball but having seen what's going on with WBB, I'm gonna just go out on a limb and say "no" because the tourney is probably going to be almost entirely P5s outside of the automatic conference qualifiers.

Nice story today. Obviously they aren't followed much here (and having the season in spring threw everyone) but this article should instill a little hope in the fan base for the future.

https://www.nola.com/sports/tulane/arti ... f4435.html

TLDR: due to injuries, seniors graduating because the season moved to spring, and players leaving for other reasons, we played this year with 11 players instead of the normal 18 (and lots of young players getting most of the time) ... After a rough start, Barnes changed our alignment and we've been on a tear ever since. Imagine that... Coaching adjustment leading to wins...

Like changing a QB a little more than 2 games into the season.

UCF was undefeated and ranked #8 in rpi.
Tulane beat them 2 sets and was up big in another set. Just a couple of plays away from winning in 4.
Incredible turn around for this very young team.

With a pretty good class coming in I think they will be pretty good next season

Nice match against a very good team. Good to read some good news about TU sports. Losing not "good" news, but how we turned the season around and being very competitive against very good competition.
