Carson Whisenhunt looked good in that 1st inning. The announcers said his pitch count will be anywhere between 45-65 pitches, but with adrenaline pumping I could see them letting him go 70 if he's dominant. That would mean him getting them into the 6th inning would be best case for ECU.

That means we need to knock him out by the 4th or 5th and get to their bullpen, which has used a lot of arms the last couple of days already. He threw 17 pitches in the first inning.

Agree. I thought the first close pitch on the offspeed pitch was probably a little outside. The second one at the knees was a stike.
