Or not. Easy out for ECU. What a very frustrating game.

Wave are deep into the ECU pen. This game is there for the taking.

Their lineup has just been better this weekend. Will be interesting to see how we respond in the next two series after we lose 3 of 4 here.

2-run homer for ECU. They lead 6-1.

This one's over.

OK, stop talking them up. It's bad juju.

You don't have to worry about juju at this point.

Ballgame. Thoroughly outplayed this series. Will see what the team pulls together the next couple of weekends but this is nothing short of an utter disappointment in year 5.

Year 5. I know last year was looking very promising early, and a lot of people think that has bought TJ some time. I strongly do not believe it should.

This program should never go this long without making the NCAA Tournament. If it doesn't happen this year, hopefully someone else gets a chance next year.

We still have 44% of the game to play. Lots of time to get engaged.

Lack of timely hitting killed this series.

Or an opponent with a stable of pitchers that aren't high school quality like our recent opponents against which folks here suddenly thought we were magically improved.

The catcher framed that by 2 feet and the ump called it a strike.

Last year, we had a better lineup than ECU has this year. But too many of them moved on. We entered this year very short on experience. Posts are flirting with violations of Board Rule #2. Meltdown later.

Pretty much. It will be hard to take 3 of 4 from UCF next weekend, which is what we will need to do.

No way he swung at that pitch. These umpires are awful. Jewett needs to get tossed.

It's really hard to say anything definitely about last year. We played well against an extremely weak schedule, much like what we did against Houston and Memphis this year.

This is hardly a meltdown. This is what people have been saying for most of this year with a three week break for the winning streak. Are you honestly happy with the teams progress since 2016?

Now we have to try winning the last 8 games. The good news is all 8 of theirs are away games and according to their homer announcers, they are much better at home than away.
