Is Slagel still on the team? The guy has struggled lately has been pretty good most of the year. If we are going to lose it should be with our best pitchers.

My guess is that we will try to go as long as we can without him in case we need a pitcher tomorrow

There isn’t going to be a tomorrow. He couldn’t have managed the first two innings worse.

You still have to prepare in case we get there. He should have started Slagel (or someone else) and try Trent with another day’s rest if we got there. The bigger issue is how do we have 20 pitchers and only a few of them can pitch.
