My guess is that we will try to go as long as we can without him in case we need a pitcher tomorrow
There isn’t going to be a tomorrow. He couldn’t have managed the first two innings worse.
You still have to prepare in case we get there. He should have started Slagel (or someone else) and try Trent with another day’s rest if we got there. The bigger issue is how do we have 20 pitchers and only a few of them can pitch.

Agreed. Starting Trent made no sense. Plenty of balk to be played. Let’s get going.

At this point, I don’t blame TJ at all. You go with your gut and hope. But he has to think at some point soon to put Gillies in. Don’t worry about tomorrow.

We have 24 more outs, so let’s get it cranked up now.

These guys doing the broadcast sound very unprepared. In the ECU game today they brought in a left handed pitcher and all this guy kept talking about was the righty-righty matchup.

Hart on 1b. Beats out routine play that 2nd baseman botched.

1st & 2nd. No outs. 3rd baseman botched easy double play ball. USF is not good at all.

Can’t get the bunt down. Terrible at bat. One out, 1st & 2nd.

Aviles needs a rest behind the plate, but can Nieman do it and let Graff or Burchfield DH?

Everybody swinging for the fences. Put the ball in play. You saw what happened with the first two.

Proper attitude for a winning fan.
Apparently you missed the reverse psychology going on where a bunch of posters say we're toast after the first two innings. It seems to cause us to score 12 to 16 runs when we do it.
