I hope in a couple of months I can come back to this topic and post about the Wave but we still have work to do.

Meanwhile it's both KY and now DUKE losing in massive upsets at home to meh teams. Kudos to Evansville and SFA for doing it on the road.

Sorry Mr. Bilas, the old Blue Devil himself, was working in Hawaii and missed this one.

Stephen F. Austin beats Duke at the buzzer for first nonconference loss at home since 2000.

Stephen F is always tough and is a tourney dark horse most every year.. beating Duke on their floor is huge, but it's not as shocking as Evansville over Kentucky.

I dunno about that. Kentucky seems to lose to lesser schools from time to time because they are so freshman reliant. Duke doesn't seem to lose to anyone but good programs

I agree; Duke had a 150 home game winning streak in out of conference opponents. That is 19 years since losing to a nonconference visitor. The place is a lot like Fogelman used to be- very intimate, fans literally on top of the benches. Very intimidating to go there...

Was it though? Mexican Army was routed and Santa Ana captured within minutes. Extremely low cavalry rate for the Texians

On edit, I suppose it was pretty intimidating for the Mexicans
