247 predicts Oklahoma receiver Mykel Jones is transferring to Tulane. His stats aren't great but he was a 4 star prospect with big program experience. Could be a nice addition to the offense.

At some point you have to do traditional recruiting to build a team. Jones should be able to help but his productivity is not on McCleskey’s level so I think it’s much more likely he won’t be a big departure from the other guys on campus. Star rating means less than nothing four years later.

247 should wait until he is actually in school when posting transfers. You think they would have learned their lesson last week.

A crystal ball is a prediction, not reporting a decision, let alone enrollment.

Jones also had some injury issues. If he doesn’t check out better than new I’d look elsewhere.

It is still a prediction. Why even predict when there are so many unknowns.

Coming off the best 2 years of recruiting the school has ever had...

Transfers are just part of the game now; Not adding a few each year would be a bigger concern to me.

It's part of their content. It's literally their business.

Not adding any in a given year wouldn’t concern me at all. It’s college free agency, and should be done for need alone. There’s an argument for going after this guy but there’s a stronger one for other positions.

These were not the two best recruiting classes the school ever had. The rating systems didn't start till 2002. We have a long history and have had many better classes. Let's keep things in perspective.

I wasn’t sure he wasn’t talking about OU.

Let’s check his morals out before assuming we can even sign him.

if nothing else, it removes some of the stigma from the QB mess....shows we are serious about transfers (when the schools allows it)
