Max was one of the most influential people in my life. He taught me in law school. I clerked for his law firm (mainly him) for two summers during law school. I stayed at his home during trips to New Orleans after graduation.

He was a lawyer's lawyer. A giant. Wonderful man. There are few like him. He lit a path that will shine for lawyers for many years.
