Oregon fans collectively looking for the receipt so they can return Bo Nix to Auburn. Some of their negative play has a lot to do with Georgia looking like they haven’t missed a beat from their championship run.

Nebraska and N Dakota tied at 7 at the half. Nebraska has never lost to an FCS team and were favored by 28.5.

As further proof that "TV brand" matters more than reality in realignment, UCLA opened yesterday in front of the smallest football crowd in the history of the Rose Bowl, just over 27k announced (and likely far less actual).

Yes folks, the newest Big 10 member could have played their opener in Yulman.

Yulman looked more crowded than the Rose Bowl (I know size makes a difference) and they had beautiful weather compared to us playing on a flooded campus.

Realignment has nothing to do with quality of the football team. It is now all about the "eyeballs" that a team brings. Which is what your "TV brand" means.

I think we are in agreement. But I think "eyeballs" is a perception based on your "brand'. UCLA has the ability (by its brand) to bring a lot of eyeballs, so they get the invitation. Are they bringing the eyeballs now? No. Might they in the next 10 years? Who knows, maybe, maybe not. But they have that brand perception that they could.

What is attendance at LSU-FSU game tonight?

ABC keeps giving tight crowd shots of Plaza
so you don’t see Terrace seating

Just did an open shot after halftime. Looks reasonably full attendance must be 60000+

Lsu only offense is the QB keeper. Their OL might be worse than ours and I’m loving every minute of it!!

FSU just went up 2 TDs with 9 minutes to go. My Tallahassee Lassie wife, an FSU alumna, is enjoying this as much as I am.

Amazing finish! LSU scores a TD on the last play of regular time, only to have the PAT blocked. Seminoles win!

LSU goes 99 yards, scores on the last play of the game only to have the extra point blocked. FSU wins, 24-23.

Yes. But should have started as soon as the ball was set for play. They should not have had time to get a play in.

Mike Norvell could not have done a better job preparing his team to play. He also could not have done a better job getting in the way of their winning that game. LSU muffed two punts deep in their own territory that he turned into no points. The first was pure “look at me being bold and gutsy doing what everyone else does.” The second was “how can I possibly lose this game that I need to win.” If I were his boss I’d treat it as a loss until he stops doing this.

These ESPN kickoff whatever's "neutral" fields locations are an absolute joke... LSU in new Orleans, UGA in Atlanta...just an excuse for $EC teams to not have to play an actual non conference away game.

I generally agree although to be fair new orleans is only a 5ish hour drive from Tallahassee and their fans definitely showed out. There was a lot of tomahawk chopping going on all game

Now Oregon going to play uga in Atlanta is silliness

I thought announcers mentioned LSU would return the neutral game site trip to Orlando or Tampa or wherever to play FSU.

Meanwhile LSU knows how we felt after Tulsa game last year

But because of all the review and confusion, the ball was never "set for play."
