If he grows to 6’0, adds weight, and possesses that speed, he could end up anywhere. Coach Fritz will certainly get the most of him.
Have any of the summer camps taken place?

Was rated an 88 on 247, very close to a 4 star. Let’s hope he’s truly committed !
He’s the #12 ranked recruit in LA currently. Of the 11 above him, 9 are committed to LSU and 2 are uncommitted. #13 is committed to OU.

His tweet says "Staying home, 1000% committed to Tulane". Sounds promising.nolasilver wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 10:12 pm Was rated an 88 on 247, very close to a 4 star. Let’s hope he’s truly committed !

We haven’t had the best of luck with absolute “votes of confidence.” Until we know different, I’ll take it at face value. As Soph noted about Louis transfer, we seem to be going after Sproles types. Thinking about Jackson TD in Cotton Bowl, what’s not to like about champions sprinter speed
I know he is listed on defense but if Cargo arrives as advertised, I assume Willie and Krewe will figure out a way to get him the ball
Re: Football Commitment DB Armani Cargo
If we hold on to him Great pickup with outstanding speed. don't worry about stars that will come along with a lot of big time Offers. A position of need counting the transfers we should have 6 SR's on our two deep chart.
Re: Football Commitment DB Armani Cargo
Rankings services get them right more than not. What is irritating is the ad hoc nature of it. Cargo played football last year then was state 100 and 200 champ. He was not in witness protection. He was listed in Top 2023 players in state
So once he receives a few SEC offers, he will be found rankings wise. There is more than a slight aroma of laziness about this

Somebody above said he's an 88 on 247. If that's not right I would ask, has he been to any football camps or played in any 7 on 7 leagues? If he's doing other sports and misses these kinds of events it's more likely the services miss him. 247 at least is very up front about multi sport guys being an area of weakness and an area where lesser recruiting schools like tulane can find inefficienciesBaywave1 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 6:12 pmRankings services get them right more than not. If you click on his profile he is an 88 according to 247. He does not have a composite rating yet

Re: Football Commitment DB Armani Cargo
That's right. He won't have a composite yet because other services haven't ranked him, but you can bet they will now that he has committed and another service is tuned into him. Assuming the 88 is close to what his composite will be, he'd be our highest rated recruit so far this year and likely our second highest rated recruit since ratings came out behind darion monroenolasilver wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 11:08 pm If you click on his profile he is an 88 according to 247.
