AAC Week 12

Post by waverider »

Can’t believe this is the penultimate episode of the regular season scores. I’ll do a Bowl ACC, short as that post may be.

USF 21
UTSA(-16) 49 F Friday

ECU 0
Navy(-2.5) 10 F

SMU 38
Memphis(+8.5) 34 F

Rice 28
Charlotte(+2.5) 7 F

UNT 35
Tulsa(+2.5) 28 F

Temple 24
UAB(-7.5) 34 F

You're not going to do one the last week on the year? These aren't the final games...

I could do the Army Navy game making next week the penultimate episode (plus bowl season)

There are pretty much a full slate of games on the weekend of the 25th (when we play UTSA on Friday the 24th)... What am I missing here? There are still two weeks left, this coming weekend and the following.

Pete, "penultimate episode of the regular season" is the next to last full weekend of games. So I expect waverider will have another one next week for the last week. And he noted he will do an abbreviated one for bowl games.

Not real sure what the confusion is all about in this chain. Don't mean to be insulting to anyone.

That SMU/Memphis line is shocking. Vegas is drinking the SMU kool-aid; I think Memphis has a very good chance to win that outright.

USF
UTSA(-16) Friday

ECU
Navy(-2.5)

SMU
Memphis(+8.5)

Rice
Charlotte(+2.5)

UNT
Tulsa(+2.5)

Temple
UAB(-7.5)
I’ll go USF to beat the spread
Navy to cover at home
Memphis to beat the spread
Charlotte to beat the spread
Tulsa to beat the spread, especially if they go with Francis
And in my least confident pick of the week I’ll take Temple to beat the spread

I guess I just assumed everyone knew what that meant! Thanks for adding context.

I don’t know if distractions are there but USF scored quickly then UTSA answered. Both exchanged punts after. USF has 3rd down when the quarter starts.

UTSA broke a 14-14 tie with a 64-yd TD pass in which the DB got lost and ran into the safety.
