Sion James is a great defender and strong as hell but I can’t believe we are continuing to play him down low a lot in the zone. He was basically the starting center.

Pope and James playing great early. Neither team makes much of an attempt to get offensive rebounds.

I can’t stand when we get in 3 point shooting contests. Only Forbes has been consistent for us. Cook is shooting less than 31% from 3 this year. Way too many step back contested 3s. Get to the rim. They don’t have a real shot blocker.

This team has two athletic players. A zone is doing them a big favor.

Being down 1 at the half is the best we can ask for after that half. Missing Cross is big but we should be able to beat a team like this without him.

I think a big part is we enjoyed a hard fought game against Houston and looked at Tulsa’s record.

At this point I have accepted that this is Hunter ball and it doesn’t really bother me anymore when we don’t get rebounds because that’s the way he wants it. I’m more bothered by horrible shots, no movement on offense and missed open looks and layups.

I guess geographically it was cheaper to send these refs for an 0-6 conference team.

Honestly, we don’t even look like we are trying and are leading.

Just from the two games I’ve seen, Tulsa is not a good team regardless of their horrible record

There’s no reason why we should be tired at this point in the season. It’s what they’ve been doing all season.

Our games are completely reliable on offensive performance and the hope that our opponents don’t have 3-pt shooters or 6’5” “big” men. When we are cold or have too many guys throwing up prayer shots, teams will be able to play close games against us.
