Memphis Game

Post by ForeverTU »

Is anyone planning to make the trip? I’m driving over from Nashville that Friday morning. Would be nice to have. Solid Greenie crowd! Sadly have not heard of any official alum tailgate as of yet.

We had talked about it because it's my son's Fall Break and I'm not in Thibodaux that day, and we could also hit our two fave Memphis BBQ spots at the same time, but we are behind in post-Ida house work and failing at our post-Spain diet, so no dice. Might do Rice instead.

Considering the low turnout in Hattiesburg, I wouldn't get your hopes too high for a Friday night in Memphis.

I'm not convinced Rice would end up being better from a dietary standpoint....

I would not expect much of a Tulane crowd; Friday night makes it harder and it's a longer trip than Hattiesburg. I know I can't go.

oh Houston is objectively worse diet wise, probably Greek dinner, Mexican dinner, Greek breakfast, and Mexican roasted chicken for tailgate all in one weekend. But it also gives me a month headstart to lose some weight!!

I would love to go to Memphis, but with work it makes it impossible. I did travel to Hattiesburg and plan to make the trip to Houston. That being said, I do know a few families are making the trip to Memphis.

Had planned on going, then found out it's Fall break. Will have the grandkids in the mountains.

So, ecu will be my only road game.

...until, of course, NY6.
